today in bio lecture, i was reminded of why i love science so much. we learned about slime molds and how scientists used them to discover efficient paths to food sources and then subsequently used that information to help model efficient paths for transportation. science, specifically biology, has always been my favorite subject since i was in elementary school. i just love learning about different organisms and how they interact with each other. i feel like by learning about those interactions and behaviors, i can understand and be more aware of the world.
